Position Overview
We are looking for a Certified Caregiver who is passionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the quality of life for others. You’ll provide hands-on assistance with daily activities, emotional support, and companionship to clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to maintain a comfortable home environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful conversation and activities.
- Monitor client well-being and promptly report any changes in condition to the supervisor or nurse.
- Follow individualized care plans and maintain clear documentation of services provided.
Qualifications
- Must hold a Certified Caregiver credential (Virginia or transferable).
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of caregiving experience preferred (home care, assisted living, or hospital setting).
- Excellent communication, reliability, and professionalism.
- Compassionate personality and genuine desire to help others.
- Must pass a background check and provide verifiable references.
